South African Man Murders His Nephew And Police Find Genitals in Uncle’s Wallet
The fact that this man not only killed his nephew, but took his genitals, is what makes this one of the most interesting news stories I have heard this week. My biggest question is how police came to discover the genitals first, which then led them to find the deceased boy? I mean, if you have a dismembered penis in your wallet, I would think you would make sure to keep that away from authorities.
Johannesburg, South Africa (The Weekly Vice) – An unidentified 42-year-old South Africa man was jailed Sunday after the genitals of an 18-year-old nephew were found in his wallet. According to Eastern Cape province police, the disappearance of an 18-year-old Ngcobo man took a bizarre turn Sunday afternoon when detectives found the missing man’s genitals in a wallet belonging to his uncle. Investigators say detectives were interviewing the uncle about the disappearance when they discovered a dismembered penis in the man’s wallet. Pressed for answers, the uncle eventually led detectives to his nephew’s dead body. The body was missing a head, arms and legs, however those body parts were found a short distance away from the torso, according to police spokesperson Mzukisi Fatyela. Local police released few details about the case, however, they did not rule out the possibility that the murder might be classified as a “muti” killing. Muti killings involve the removal of body parts from a human body which are then used by witchdoctors in various potions. Demand for such body parts has become an ongoing problem in South Africa, particularly in the region surrounding Johannesburg.
I can’t believe people are still sacrificing people, cutting off their body parts and selling them, all so some witchdoctor can use it in a damn potion. Usually potions are used to help heal the sick or something along those lines. Death must come so others can stay well? This makes no sense. Those who are sick should donate their body parts to these “witchdoctors” once they’ve died as opposed to having crazy people go around killing and dismembering family members. And to think, I thought South Africa sounded like a nice place to visit. No, thank you.

Yes, this may be a marketing ploy from Nike. Yes, maybe it is “well-coordinated spontaneity on behalf of Nike’s marketing dept.” But, ultimately, it’s a video showing two men traveling to and from many different countries in just 10 days and having an extraordinary time. If you choose to critique this video, that’s your choice; Although, it’s also my choice to take this video as inspiration, NOT to go and buy a Nike product, but instead, to go travel and explore our planet. There is so much out there and so few of us are able to see it all, or even some for that matter. And it’s obviously filmed and edited very well, which makes it that much more amazing. Kudos to Max Joseph and Casey Neistat.

This video was taken on October 23rd, 2011 during the Amageza Qualifier in North Africa. On the posters YouTube, they explain the incident:
I was on a BMW F800GS, and recording the event (Drift HD170 Stealth Helmet Cam) as participant when I got to this point. The actual event video clip has also published on YouTube.
The video was published on YouTube in order to publish as part of ride report on the Wilddog (www.wilddog.za.net) Forum.
I am amazed by the amount of goodwill and need for acts of humanity that exist. I am blessed to have made a difference in some peoples lives to see a different and very real world that exists and can exist.
The sheer fact that the man chose to stop and further explore what was happening is absolutely amazing. So many people in the world today would keep driving and not even think twice about what they had seen. Fortunately, there are people out there who not only care about the lives of other people, but also that of other creatures. What a wonderful example of humanity.
Sadly, I can’t help but compare this story to that of poor Yue Yuem who was ignored in China. She was a young two-year-old girl who was not only ignored by the person who hit and ran her over, but also ignored by 18 other individuals who acted like she wasn’t even there. I wish this man was in China walking down that path on the day Yue was hit, maybe then she would still be alive.
Wake up and take notice people. One man stopped to save a small animal who was still struggling to fight for their own life, while EIGHTEEN ignored a little girl who couldn’t even fight for hers. Who would you rather be?

In the entertainment industry, viral videos are the thing that co-workers share. In fact, I don’t think I’ve been so up to date with what was going on around me or the trends taking place, before I worked in television.
Anyway, this video is one of those great unexpected moments that is absolutely amazing. Thanks to people using video cameras almost constantly, we get to see crazy, one time only, greatness.

How Bella the dog survived being stabbed in the HEAD during burglary
Before surgery: The German Shepherd ahead of having the knife pulled out
Dailymail – This brave German Shepherd sits calmly with her owner – just minutes after burglars stabbed an eight inch blade into her skull.
The six-year-old family pet, named Bella, needed emergency surgery to remove the protruding knife after the horrific incident on Saturday.
This shocking picture shows how the robbers narrowly missed the animal’s eyes as they plunged the deadly blade into her forehead.
Today Bella’s owner Vernon Swart said he feared the worst when he saw the knife sticking out of her skull following the attack at his home in South Africa.
He said: ‘I was in the house on Saturday morning when the neighbours called to say our dog was running around in the street with a massive knife in her head.
‘I didn’t believe them but when I went outside I saw it for myself.
‘The neighbours said they had caught intruders trying to enter their home and they must have then tried to get into my place when Bella attacked them in our garden.
‘One of them had stabbed her right in the head and the end of the knife was poking out between her eyes.
‘I feared the worst and assumed she was going to die, but incredibly she was running around as if nothing had happened.’
Mr Swart, a professional artist from Stellenbosch near Cape Town, said he rushed Bella to the vet for surgery after the stabbing.
He said: ‘My wife was at work but she came home and we drove down to the vet.
‘Bella was on the back seat and every time she turned her head the handle of the knife banged against the window.
‘She obviously couldn’t feel anything as she was acting normally, but it looked horrific.

‘The vet couldn’t believe what he was seeing and said he had no idea how Bella had survived.
‘He put her under an anaesthetic and then pulled the blade out.
‘It was imbedded so far into her skull that he had to put his knees up against Bella’s head and lever it with his arms.
‘When we saw the size of the knife we were absolutely shocked.
‘The vet said it must have missed her brain by fractions of a centimetre and otherwise she would have been dead.’
The eight inch diver’s knife was later handed to the police as evidence after the surgery.
Detectives confirmed they had opened a case of malicious damage to property following the incident.
They were today hunting for the suspected thieves, who ran away after the attempted break-in.
Meanwhile Bella was recovering at home after her ordeal.
Mr Swart said: ‘She’s been lying beside the fire and we’ve been treating her to all sorts of nice food, but she seems absolutely fine.
‘People keep coming to look at her but she can’t understand what all the fuss is about.’
He added: ‘We’re just so relieved that she’s okay.
‘She’s been with our family for ages and we’d have been devastated to have lost her.
‘I’ve told the police that if they find the guys who did this we’d like to leave them alone in a room for a few minutes with Bella, and she’d quickly get her revenge.’
Swaziland: HIV patients ‘eat dung to make drugs work’
This is a truly heartbreaking story about one’s will to survive and fight their hardest. In Swaziland, HIV patients there are forced to eat cow dung mixed with water to fill their stomachs. The medication they take for the HIV will not work on an empty stomach, and many of these people have no money for any extra food, or any at all, for that matter.
Some HIV-positive patients in Swaziland are so poor they have resorted to eating cow dung before taking anti-retroviral drugs, Aids activists say.
Several hundred people protested in the capital, Mbabane, on Wednesday against the economic crisis in the kingdom.
King Mswati III’s government has admitted it is running out of cash.
It has asked neighbouring South Africa for a bailout.
“Some people are now saying they are going to stop taking anti-retroviral drugs because it [requires] that they have food in their stomachs,” he told the BBC’s Focus on Africa programme.
Swaziland, with a population of about 1.2 million, has one of the highest HIV/Aids rates in the world.
About 230,000 people are HIV-positive, of whom 65,000 get free drugs from government hospitals.
Mr Dlamini said the protesters urged the government not to cut health spending.
“We want the government to stick to its word and to prioritise health,” he said.
Last month, MP Joseph Madonsela said state hospitals would run out of anti-retroviral drugs within two months.
This was denied by the government.
The shortage of money forced King Mswati, who is sub-Saharan Africa’s last absolute monarch, to cancel his silver jubilee celebrations this year.
He has an estimated personal wealth of $200m (£122m) and each of his 13 wives has a palace paid for by the state, correspondents say.
It’s sad that the King is unwilling to spend some of his own personal wealth to help his country out of this unlivable situation. The men and women in his country are dying and forced to eat feces and have the highest rate of HIV around, yet he is able to maintain his wealth and provide for 13 wives. Someone needs to overrule this mother fucker and force him to live in the conditions he is forcing on others.
