Girl, 9, Shot By Relative Who Mistook Her in Her Halloween Costume as a Skunk
A 9-year-old girl has been accidentally shot by a relative who thought she was a skunk. Apparently, she was wearing a black dress and black hat with a white tassel outside a Halloween party, which led to the confusion. The male relative saw the young girl and thought she was a skunk, so he pulled out a shotgun and shot her in the shoulder.
According to authorities, the girl was awake and aware as she was being flown to the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, which is just 30 miles away from their home in New Sewickley Township. While you may be assuming that the relative was drinking, the news is reporting that he was not under the influence and we do not know if he will be charged at this time.

” I got a hit a total of 4 times. My helmet cam died and i made it down the mountain on my own. I was also hit in the side of my helmet and my eye pro was shot off of my face. We were doing overwatch on the village to recon and gather intel. I was point heading down the face of the hill with the LT. when we got hit. the rest of the squad was pinned down by machine gun fire. I didn’t start the video until a few mins into the firefight for obvious reasons. I came out into the open to draw fire so my squad could get to safety.”
“A round struck the tube by my hand of the 203 grenade launcher which knocked it out of my hands. When I picked the rifle back up it was still functional but the grenade launcher tube had a nice sized 7.62 cal bullet hole in it and was rendered useless. “

UPDATE: MONDAY July 16th, 2012 at 10:45 AM – A friend of Eugene’s, Christian, 34, has come forward and told authorities that they had both previously met Poppo while volunteering to feed the homeless.
‘Poppo seemed like a nice and kind man,’ Christian, 34, told the Herald. ‘I remember when we gave him food.’
The police are hoping that this new information might lead them to a motive for the attack.
UPDATE: THURSDAY June 28th, 2012 at 10:35 AM - The Miami-Dade Medical Examiner has come out and said that there was only Marijuana found in Rudy Eugene’s system. The toxicology report has been completed.
“The department’s toxicology laboratory has identified the active components of marijuana,” the medical examiner said in a statement. “The laboratory has tested for but not detected any other street drugs, alcohol or prescription drugs, or any adulterants found in street drugs.”
Along with ruling out all drugs and alcohol other than Marijuana, the department has stated that there were no known drugs in bath salts present in Eugene’s system at the time.
Poppo has been recovering at Jackson Memorial Hospital‘s Ryder Trauma Center since the attack on May 26th that took place along the MacArthur Causeway. 50 Percent of his face were attacked and he’s also suffering an infection, brain injury and some puncture wounds in his chest.
I am sorry, but there is NO WAY in hell that Eugene was just under the influence of Marijuana. To strip naked, viciously attack someone, eat their face and then to not retreat after being shot means he was clearly crazy or on some sort of drug, similar to LSD. Bath salts are a newer drug that people know very little about. Could it be possible that the drug had worked its way out of his system before the toxicology was performed? Did he have mental issues before this particular attack? The fact that he stripped off his clothing means he was feeling very hot, which is a feeling that many people get when they take Speed, Ecstasy, or LSD. Another common factor is that pain is dismissed while high on these drugs. It seems logical that Rudy Eugene was having a similar experience, yet the department says nothing was present? I think some more investigation needs to go into this, because if marijuana gets a bad name thanks to this crazy ass cannibal, I will not be happy about that. People have worked too hard to share the effects of marijuana, which usually don’t include eating people, getting naked and being able to take bullets like some kind of Superman.
UPDATE: WEDNESDAY June 13th at 9:08 AM – A photo has been released with the consequences of the attack finally revealed. Below, you can find that image as well as more about this story.
“He was always looking for ways to make money. Not necessarily illegal, but sometimes he got in trouble with it,” lifelong friend, Daniel Ruiz told the Miami Herald. “But for Rudy to do something that graphic, that aggressive, that violent, that gruesome — that’s what’s really troubling us. Rudy? Really? Rudy? Naw.”
MIAMI (AP) — Authorities were seeking more witnesses Tuesday to help explain what led a naked man to start chewing another naked man’s face and whose only response when confronted by police was to growl and keep attacking – even after being shot.
At least one witness so far has said he saw the attack Saturday on a busy highway off-ramp. Police have identified the attacker as Rudy Eugene, 31.
The victim, who has not been identified, is in critical condition at a hospital. Both men were naked at the time of the attack, The Miami Herald reported.
“We know that there were many people on the MacArthur Causeway and we’re hoping they come forward,” Detective William Moreno was quoted Monday by the newspaper as saying.
Police have released few details about the attack, other than confirming that an officer had fatally shot a suspect.
A police spokesman and the Miami-Dade County medical examiner did not immediately return telephone calls Tuesday from The Associated Press.
Witness Larry Vega was riding his bicycle Saturday afternoon off the MacArthur Causeway that connects downtown Miami with Miami Beach when he saw the savage attack, he told local news media.
“The guy was, like, tearing him to pieces with his mouth, so I told him, ‘Get off!’” Vega told Miami television station WSVN (http://bit.ly/L6kwWt). “The guy just kept eating the other guy away, like, ripping his skin.”
Vega flagged down a Miami police officer, who he said repeatedly ordered the attacker to get off the victim. The attacker just picked his head up and growled at the officer, Vega said.
As the attack continued, Vega said the officer shot the attacker, who continued chewing the victim’s face. The officer fired again, killing the attacker.
A surveillance camera from The Miami Herald building nearby captured images of the men’s naked legs lying side by side after the shooting.
Vega said the victim appeared gravely injured.
“It was just a blob of blood,” Vega said. “You couldn’t really see, it was just blood all over the place.”
Vega declined to speak Tuesday with The Associated Press. He said he was trying to put the attack behind him.
Ives Eugene, who identified himself as Rudy Eugene’s uncle, described his nephew as a “nice and hard-working” man who washed cars at a local dealership.
In a telephone interview, Eugene, 55, said his nephew had asked his girlfriend to borrow her car, but she said no. “So he rode the bicycle, and he never came back home.”
Ives Eugene said the family heard Monday about the attack but did not know what sparked it.
Rudy Eugene’s ex-wife declined to be interviewed when reached by The Associated Press by telephone.
Ronald Poppo was a quiet homeless man that supposedly, never bothered anyone. Although he was a bit down and out during this incident, he attended a prestigious New York School as a young man and wasn’t heading for a life on the streets. Sadly, he’s still in critical condition. Even if he does survive, there’s not much left of his face and it could be a very long recovery process.

[UPDATE] Killer Has Been Identified, As Well As Possible Motive: Shooting At Oakland, CA Christian Univeristy
UPDATE: April 3rd, 2012 @ 12:00 PM – The shooter is being identified (allegedly) as 43-year-old, One L. Goh. According to some, he was often made fun of for his poor English speaking skills. As far as the authorites believe, Goh was looking for a former female administrator that had expelled him from Oikos University, earlier in the year. After realizing that she wasn’t there he went into an acupuncture room and told the students to “Get in line and I’m going to kill you all.” Although he has surrendered and been cooperative, he seems to be lacking remorse. It is believed that the death of his mother, brother and being expelled along with debt piling up, is the possible motive.
UPDATE: April 2nd, 2012 at 4:05 PM – 7 people are being confirmed dead after the shooting that took place this morning. The suspect has also been identified as a man in his 40′s and has been taken into custody by police. Along with the seven fatally shot, 3 other people were wounded as well. Pastor Jong Kim, the University’s founder, did verify that the suspect was enrolled at the school as a nursing student, but was no longer enrolled.
Although it hasn’t been verified yet, it is assumed that at least five people are dead after a man opened fire at Oikos University, a Christian school in Oakland, California at 10:30 this morning. Police are not letting people know how many are dead and/or wounded, but from the aerial shots, 5 bodies can be seen with sheets covering them.
Police described the suspect as an Asian male, 5-foot-9, wearing tan pants, according ABC station KGO-TV in San Francisco.

[VIDEO] Brazilian Reporter Catches Shooting On Camera While Reporting on Gang Crime
Josenildo Gonçalves, a Brazilian TV reporter, was covering a shooting that had already occurred in João Pessoa (the capital city of the Brazilian state of Paraíba) when a man casually strolls up and shoots a man while the cameras catch everything.
The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Rodrigo Ferreira da Silva and amazingly, is at a hospital and in stable condition.

Daniel Von Bargen’s 911 Call After Suicide Attempt
Daniel Von Bargen is laying in an Ohio hospital after attempting to commit suicide Monday morning in an attempt to avoid having more body parts amputated, due to his diabetes. Although he is coherent int he audio tape, he is still in critical condition and was most likely shocked during this phone call.
Bargen is well-known for such roles as Mr. Kruger in “Seinfeld” as well as Chief Grady in “Super Troopers“. Apparently he had already had one leg amputated and was going in for a procedure to have at least a few toes removed as well.
According to Montgomery Police sergeant Greg Vondenbenken, Von Bargen was ‘seriously injured’ and was taken to Bethesda North hospital, Cincinnati, where his condition is critical but improving.
He is well-respected in the entertainment community, and people are showing extreme support for the 61-year-old and his condition. Let’s hope for the best for someone that has provided us with entertainment for many years and a few different generations.

[VIDEO] Cops Shoot Suspect Armed With Crowbar 10 Times…
MONTEREY PARK, Calif. (KABC) — A suspect armed with a crowbar was shot outside of a Carl’s Jr. restaurant in Monterey Park on Monday morning. Authorities say the incident began with the suspect breaking windows at Carl’s Jr. in the 1200 block of Avenida Cesar Chavez just before 9:30 a.m. The suspect then walked inside, while workers and customers ran outside. Police arrived as the suspect was exiting the fast-food restaurant. After repeatedly telling the suspect to drop the weapon, the suspect was Tasered. Police said the Taser was ineffective, and the suspect swung the three-foot metal bar at officers twice. At least one officer opened fire on the suspect. The suspect was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No one else was injured in the incident. The officer-involved shooting is under investigation.
