[VIDEO] Kinect Grocery Cart: Shopping Made Easy
Whether you know this or not, I am a huge fan of technology. Some people may fear that technology makes us lazy, less socially available, as well as a variety of other issues. While I do agree that some technology has made it easier for us to be lazy and or avoid human interaction, I think it’s up to us to not just accept that and find ways to interact socially as well as not submit to laziness.
Another reason I like the technological advances that are being made is because it broadens our horizons and advances us as a race. If technology is the basis for most everything, then most everybody is going to have to have at least some understanding of how these devices and programs work. Someone who may not have cared before, may have to now and will have to use parts of the brain they didn’t care to use prior. Also, as the population continues to grow, making simple tasks more convenient is going to be helpful when in crowded places that would normally have lines. When you’re in a small town, lines are something that move quickly, but in a place like Los Angeles, New York, and Japan… lines are horrendous. For this reason, I think this way of shopping is genius:
(And just because things don’t work 100% of the time doesn’t mean they’ve failed, it means that they need improvements… as do most things)

[VIDEO] Doe Crashes Into Store And Is Caught On Camera
This Saturday, shoppers at Goodwill in Gloucester County, New Jersey definitely were surprised by the next shopper that burst through the door, a doe. This terrified young deer sprints across the parking lot before crashing into the front doors of the store.
At first I just heard a loud noise,’ said Victor Santucci, regional manager of the Goodwill stores who was present when the video was taken.
‘I thought maybe a car had crashed through the front door. We made sure that our customers were safe and got them out of the store, and then we corralled the deer to get her out. It didn’t appear to be hurt.’
Mr Santucci added that there were five deer in the parking lot on Saturday, ‘but only one crashed through the door.’
The store, in Woodbury Heights, has already been able to fix the damages and hopes that no other deers are as unfortunate as this poor doe. It seems odd that one would run towards a mirrored door as opposed to fleeing into the woods. Weird.

[VIDEO] Riley, 5, Discusses Marketing For Boys And Girls
Riley, 5, is a pretty smart little girl and has trouble understanding why it is that princesses are pink and marketed towards girls, while G.I. Joe‘s and things of that sort are packaged in greens and blues and marketed towards boys. The stereotypes that are in place today, which offer guidance for what girls and boys should be interested in, often make me wonder if we’ll ever be able to stray away from the 50′s idea of what men and women should do and how they should act. Fortunately, we have young children, like Riley, who make it seem so apparent that this is wrong and not the way we should be encouraging our children. Just because the princess is in a pink package does not mean that a little boy can’t play with it, yet, he’s far too aware that the consequences of wanting and/or getting such a gift wouldn’t be all that great.
Way to go Riley! If only some adults could not be so ignorant and take advice from you, we might be better off.
And although she isn’t aware of what a provocative statement she made for the gay community, I’d like to send thanks to her for that as well. At this time, when a young boy’s parent is questioned because she paints his nails pink, we really need people to stand up and express that color doesn’t identify someone. We should already be well aware of this, thanks to the Civil Rights Movement, but sadly, we are not.
Gay children find it harder to come out because of these exact scenarios. If they want to buy a princess, the bullying begins and they learn from the get go, that in order to not be made fun of they can’t play with the toys they like, act the way they wish, or someday find love in a companion they choose. This is what is truly heartbreaking and this reason that little Riley is such an amazing girl.

Remember The Butt Slasher? Here Is The New Prime Suspect!
Prime suspect: Johnny D. Guillen Pimentel is wanted in connection with a spate of buttock slashings in Virginia
Johnny D. Guillen Pimentel is now being named as the main suspect in the butt slashing case. If you’re not familiar with the case, let me give a little background.
In Northern Virginia, earlier this year, a man was targeting young women in their late teens or early twenties. How? Well, he was slashing their asses with a knife and taking off. The women were left with cuts that went through their clothing and cut into their skin. It seems unbelievable that they wouldn’t notice a man slashing their asses open, but by the time they did notice, the infamous slasher was gone.
He was seen on videotapes going in and out of retail stores and in some cases, actually attacking these women, but was not identifiable at the time. The police have received a tip that Pimentel, 40, is the man behind the notorious attacks and have issued a warrant for his arrest. They believe he has fled the area because they have not been able to locate the gentleman (I say this because he’s still just a suspect) and would really like to discuss these incidences with him.
Although the attacks were rather minor, they did traumatize some of the victims and have made them feel uncomfortable shopping. Personally, THIS is a huge issue. Our economy is in a down fall and we need as many shoppers as possible out there spending money! The butt slasher has contributed to the decline of our economy, in my opinion, and for that the government should be more involved in the hunt for this economic terrorist.
Is this Casey Anthony?!
There is controversy surrounding TMZ‘s video that has been released, and can be viewed below. Many people are saying that this can’t be Casey Anthony because she is too thick. Others are mistaking people for Casey Anthony, who are not. One lady was actually hit (by a vehicle, inside her vehicle) by a woman who thought she was Anthony. This seems rather ridiculous and unfair; Especially if this is Casey Anthony and she’s just out shopping, have no vehicles attempt to ram her. Check it out and see what you think:
Day 3: The Master Cleanse

I’ve made it two full days on the Master Cleanse thus far. This morning, I woke up though, and realized that I only had enough maple syrup to make 8 oz glasses of me “lemonade”. This isn’t a huge deal seeing as I can go to the store and buy more, but the idea of going into a building full of food seems quite difficult at this point ha.
Quite honestly though, last night was probably the most difficult night yet. A few of my friends and I went to Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s and EVERYONE there was ordering food and drinks like no other. Seeing drinks coming and going, plates filled then empty was like pure torture. I was also exhausted, but thankfully the entertainment was amazing and I couldn’t be stopped from having a good time 
In fact, last night I happened to win a game of bingo and was able to do my prat falls in front of the entire Flipping Out cast, Sara Rue and the rest of the crowd at bingo. I always get a kick out of making my friends and everyone else laugh at my embarrassment, so that was pretty awesome. All around a good night, with good people
I’m doing pretty good so far today, but just wondering how long I’ll be able to last. My friend is coming over tonight to cook us dinner, and I want so badly to be able to enjoy it! Hopefully my will power will keep me strong enough to resist (although I’m doubting it at this point).
