[VIDEO] The NEW Myspace

Screen shot 2012-09-24 at 3.36.28 PM

Here is the first look at the ALL NEW Myspace. What do you think? Will you be signing up and using Myspace again, after seeing this video? Personally, I feel their new concept and fluidity for users has greatly improved. It feels like they finally invested some time, money and hired the right team to actually make this a site that may be able to hold its own against FaceBook. I went to new.myspace.com and signed up for an invitation. Once I get to roam around a bit, I’ll definitely be updating everyone on how it’s working :)

Cindy and George Anthony Do Not Agree On Whether Casey Is Responsible For Caylee’s Death Or Not

Dr. Phil McGraw was able to interview both George and Cindy Anthony in regards to their granddaughter Caylee and her mysterious death. It seems now, more than ever, that the two disagree on whether their own daughter, Casey Anthony, is responsible for her death.

Speaking on The View today, ahead of his highly anticipated interview with the couple, Dr Phil said he believes Cindy Anthony is still very much in denial about what happened to their granddaughter and said she disagreed with her husband about whether their daughter did, in fact, kill two-year-old Caylee.

According to Dr. Phil. he was able to ask any questions that he felt comfortable asking. One thing I really enjoyed is when he asked Cindy Anthony about her posts on Myspace where she had acknowledged that Caylee had been missing for an amount of time before the police were even notified. For me, this post was the most revealing:

‘My Caylee is missing, she came into my life unexpectedly just as she had left me. Jealousy has taken her away, jealousy from the one person that should be thankful for all the love and support given to her.’

While hearing this, and reading this, it seems to me that the ‘jealousy’ Cindy is referring to is her daughter’s. Cindy seems to be understanding of who took her away since she has such strong opinions about the person who harbored the jealousy and was capable of ‘(taking) her away’. Of course Cindy explains this away by saying that she was missing in her heart, but physically she believed she knew where she was. Her belief was that Casey was deliberately keeping Caylee from her grandparents. Dr. Phil goes deeper and asks another great (and revealing) question:

He said: ‘What jumps out at me is that you said this mother gave chance after chance for her daughter to change but instead more lies, more betrayal. Did you know something then?’

“Hello Kitty” Devotee Preys On Young Girls

Erik Epperson is a 22-year-old guy living in Indiana and working at a pizzeria. He also considers himself a “Hello Kitty” devotee, and tends to wear clothing and accessories to show his admiration.

Unfortunately, right now he is being held on criminal charges for going to California for the purpose of having sex (or sexual activity) with a minor. The odd part is that he willingly admitted that this information was accurate. He stated that he met the San Diego girl on facebook through a mutual friend of theirs. Epperson didn’t stop there, but continued to tell investigators all of his dirty little secrets.

Epperson copped to having sex with about a dozen other female juveniles and said that he “recorded himself having sexual intercourse” with three girls and took a photo of another girl’s nude vagina “because it looked nice.”

He also, told investigators that he “sent nude pictures of his penis to several girls,” adding that he “could not find any girls over 18 years old to date because of what he believed to be his own 15 year old girl personality.”

And he also told the FBI that he was in the process of joining the Navy “so that he could travel to Japan and see the world.” I have a feeling that he was headed to Japan for something other than to sight see. You don’t get sexually involved with 14-year-old Japanese girls in California, and then plan on going to Japan just to “see the world.”

Epperson will probably never be able to prove me right though, due to the fact that he may face up to 30 years in prison for traveling over state lines to have sex with a minor. He should have waited until he was in Japan; Now he’s the one that’s going to be having sex with older inmates, who are most likely not going to be Japanese.

Duck Face: The Song & Video

Although I do this face while I dance, it’s an uncontrollable habit that I’ve never gotten to the bottom of really; Taking pictures with a duck face though, that’s just silly.

Facebook has about 750 million users at this point

Facebook’s incredible worldwide growth has reached another major milestone: the service now has 750 million monthly active users, according to a source close to the company.

We reached out to Facebook for confirmation, and a company spokesperson responded that they don’t have anything to announce at this time. That isn’t surprising: the company hasn’t officially released an updated user count since it reached 500 million users nearly a year ago. Facebook has obviously been growing since then — we believe the company may be waiting until it hits the 1 billion mark before officially updating the stat again.

The last semi-official update came from a leaked Goldman Sachs report for potential Facebook investors that pegged the number at 600 million in January.

In the mean time there have been numerous reports from unofficial sources tracking Facebook’s growth. Socialbakers reported in late May that the site was around 700 million users, and Inside Facebook reported that the tally was at 687 million earlier this month. This data can be difficult to interpret because it’s based on third-party companies like Quantcast and/or Facebook’s ad tools, which may not necessarily be completely accurate.

One important thing to note: unlike many online services, Facebook’s user count metric actually means something — it’s defined as a user who has logged in within the last 30 days (plenty of sites only report cumulative users, which doesn’t take into account that many people stop using their services).

I know this may not be shocking seeing as most everything revolves around Facebook these days, but I really am shocked. I kept thinking that this was going to fall, much like Myspace, but it just keeps going and going and going. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future when it comes to Facebook.

I’m Caught Up In This Shit

Okay, so I was sitting here thinking how ridiculous it is that everybody is obsessed with celebrities. But then I realized, I am too! Whether it’s talking shit about them or praising them, everyone has something to say and knows what is going in, or at least, what their publicists would like us to know is going on. Maybe celebrities are like the new technology. I mean, everyone is upset with how dependent we are on technology nowadays because it seems that we can’t operate without it. In our free time, we do the same thing with celebrities. Conversation revolves around who did what or who said what, and if you aren’t in the loop, people look at you with these cocky, smart ass eyes, as if to say “you didn’t know about that?!?” Due to this response, we are forced to stay up to date with all of this information, while at the same time adjusting to new technology.

While it may seem like we are a generation of lazy, over indulgent losers, we are actually quite busy and stressed with everything that w must do on a day to day basis, to keep up with our peers. For instance, we now have Twiiter, TMZ, Facebook, Myspace (slowly dying for those of you who didn’t know, I wouldn’t want your friends to judge you), Perez’ site, and so much more that we feel obligated to tune into at least once a day, if not more. Doing all of these things, keeping up relationships, working at an actual job, fantasizing about being the people that you pretend to hate: these are all things that consume us.
