[VIDEO] Stoner, Stephen Pay, Robbed During His Live Web Show

Shock94

In the video below, you’ll see Stephen Pay “Marijuana Man“, get robbed while recording a video for his YouTube Channel. There’s not really much else to say about this, other than I’m jealous that he’s got more YouTube subscribers than me and all he does is smoke weed.

[VIDEO] Drivers use CNN to get high and test drive vehicles

Screen Shot 2013-02-18 at 9.28.44 AM

This video cracked me up and made me feel much better about driving under the influence of marijuana. Yes, I do drive while high. And for many people who don’t actively use marijuana, the idea of driving under its influence seems ridiculous. But, like most things, if you’ve built up a tolerance (like “Addy” in the above video), even being 5x over the legal limit doesn’t impair you enough to be a danger on the road. She had to smoke more than a gram to be told that she wasn’t in good enough condition to be driving, and even then, she agreed. I don’t know about you, but when I am drunk and want to go somewhere, I think I am capable of driving there safely. Yet, when I smoke, if I know I’m to high, I’m content with waiting until I’m no longer feeling incapable.

My favorite part about this video is how they tried to show in the end that all these individuals would have been arrested, according to the officer. Ironically, most of the drivers wouldn’t have even been pulled over, because their driving was still “pretty good”.

Thank you CNN for proving what I already knew. Stoners are more patient and rational than drunks (but if you’re a combination of the two, I have no speculation for how you might act or when you might or might not drive).

Ugly Addiction: Don’t Do Meth

original

Here are two photos of Melissa Wolf from Ohio. On the left, a photo of Wolf from her arrest in July of last year. On the right, her booking photo from yesterday.

The police were acting on a tip they had received and they apparently found ”several propane tanks, some containing anhydrous ammonia, chemicals to manufacture meth and a small amount of marijuana” all at her home when she was arrested.

[VIDEO] Magic Flight Launch Box Product Review

magic-flight

After coming across the Magic Flight Launch Box, I was incredibly thrilled to try this product out and see what it could do. At home, I have a clunky (off brand) vaporizer that is usually more difficult to assemble than I’m interested in; So more often than not, I  settle on the water pipe. I have a neurological disorder (CRPS) and it weakens my immune system, which in turn means I get sick more often. Smoking as much as I have been is not good for me, and I have been searching for a small, easy to assemble vaporizer that didn’t take forever to get going. The Magic Flight is exactly what I was looking for.

The device itself is tiny and can take some getting use to, that is, if you have larger hands than I. For me, the size was just perfect and made it easy to handle with just one hand. The dimensions are 2.5” x 1.25” x 0.9” and easy to keep hidden, if being discreet is something that appeals to you. Again, it heats up so quickly and makes it easier to use than your average pipe. Vapor formed rather quickly and I was able to take a hit after just 3 seconds, sometimes 4 seconds.

The design is also appealing to me. Lets be honest, people are interested in buying things not only because of what they can do, but also because of how they look. In a way, it seems like a very well made DIY project, and this is something I really like. The wood finish is rather awesome and unique, considering most other vaporizers on the market.

But what really sold me was the price! To get such a reliable vaporizer for only $129 was well worth it. I would suggest anyone get this if you’re looking for something that will get the job done. Yes, it doesn’t have the space to really do the job of a Volcano or other, more large vaporizers, but who wants to heat it up, put it together, and deal with the clean up? Just pack another bowl in the Magic Flight and you’re good to go!

The only thing that I didn’t like so much was the battery life. They seem to die rather quickly (around 5 bowls on average), but luckily they give you two rechargeable batteries, which charge up pretty quickly. If you’re going on the road, you’ll just want to be sure you keep these batteries ready to go. So, while it is a con, it’s really the only one and not enough of one to make me not use this product every day. In fact, I have used it everyday since I’ve gotten it. My throat is not hurting quite so much, the vapor tastes much better, and I can use the remnants to cook with. Love it.

The lifetime warranty is also a great selling point ;) For more information and to get your very own, please visit Magic Flight’s site HERE

Also, here is an instructional video that is also posted on their website:

Exclusive: Interview with Peace and Freedom Presidential Candidate, Roseanne Barr

Roseanne-Barr

Shalom Life released an interview that they recently did with Peace and Freedom Presidential candidate, Roseanne Barr, and I was intrigued to hear her answers on some political questions that many may have. One of my very best friends (actually a few) love Roseanne Barr and were excited to hear she was running. Truthfully, I thought it was all a joke that somewhat made sense because I agreed with a lot that she had said. Never did I imagine that her name would actually be on the ballot of President in 2012.

I really love her views on marijuana and wish that every candidate understood why this made sense.

Although I doubt she has an actual chance to win this election, nor do I really believe she’s qualified, it would be great to share what her stance is on certain issues as well as hear her speak out about why she is running and whether her motivation came from the corrupted system we have now, or an innate interest in politics. Below is the interview that Roseanne Barr participated in, shortly after the 2012 Presidential debate between Mitt Romney and current President Barack Obama.

ASHLEY BAYLEN (AB): Did you ever expect the woman that stepped onto ‘The Tonight Show’ stage almost 30 years ago to be running for President?

ROSEANNE BARR (RB): Absolutely! Ever since I was a little girl I’ve had a deep yearning to lead and bring a huge change into the world. Just because you have a Messiah Complex doesn’t mean you can’t do Messianic work and bring change on a grand scale. Let’s ALL be saviors and healers and march together! I’m running for President because I figure you have to start somewhere. Even Presidents have to play ball but I want to make the game less crooked.

AB: Have you always been interested in pursuing a political career, or is this Presidential campaign a response to your disappointment with the current state of America?

RB: Yes! I come from a very very political family-politics were always important from childhood.

AB: The platform for the Peace and Freedom party almost mirrors the issues you raised during your run for the Green Party ticket. Why didn’t you run with the Peace and Freedom party from the beginning?

RB: This is the way things rolled out. Looking over my shoulder and analyzing each step or misstep that brought me to the present takes time away from right now, and as wise thinkers have said from the beginning: “The time is NOW.” Here I am; Let’s roll!

AB: I’m from Toronto, and it seems the Peace and Freedom party is very similar to Canada’s New Democratic Party. Are you familiar with the NDP?

RB: I’m sorry to say I’m not, but if we’re very similar, well, THAT is probably the most important thing to know. Sounds like we’re on different trains, but the same track. Full speed ahead!

AB: Legalization of marijuana is a subject you care very strongly about. On your presidential website, you mention re-writing the laws to be “sane and people based”. What exactly does that mean and why is this issue so important to you?

RB: The jury is NOT out, anymore; Listen, demonizing Weed is just plain bad policy. We’re criminalizing our own people, wasting billions of dollars and eroding our freedom with the endless, destructive “War on drugs,” but, specifically, the part focused on persecuting and prosecuting people who use Marijuana. We destroy our own credibility by allowing cigarettes and alcohol to be sold everywhere while hypocritically pretending we’re all about protecting people. I could go on all day, so don’t get me started. The facts are everywhere and they’re incontrovertible. We’ve had twenty years of Presidents who smoked pot and it didn’t stop them from becoming President. Enough said, for now? More on request.

AB: You previously joked about running to become Prime Minister of Israel, and you frequently discuss Israel and Palestine on Twitter, in speeches, and your blogs. If you became President, what would you implement to “bring Peace to the Middle East”?

RB: I would call together the calmest, most moderate advocates on each side of the divide, demonstrate respect for each other’s positions and concerns and begin to incrementally search for opportunities for rational discussion. There’s not a justifiable reason why people who claim to be moral, who swear they believe in a righteous G-d that sees and knows all, should not be able to at least sit in a room and admit that something has to be done to protect their own children from hatred and violence. That’s not a naive statement; it’s one based in intelligence, logic and rational self-interest. We can build on that.

AB: What do you believe the actual issues in Israel are?

RB: The issues are Netanyahu’s endless clamoring for war with Iran, which we know will basically amount to a “fly-by” bombing, a beat-down, that will kill innocent civilians. Look, Ahmadinejad’s rhetoric is just that, the blustery saber-rattling of a nation ringed by superior military power on every front. Iran is looking down the barrel of Israel’s massive nuclear arsenal and the most superior military, by far, in their part of the world. Speaking of honesty: does it make someone “anti-Israel’ to point to the fact that Israel has always been coy and elusive about what everyone knows is their nuclear capability, while they demand to know exactly what Iran is up to? I think not.

The capper is: Israel’s defense minister has just called for a broad unilateral withdrawal from the West Bank if talks with the Palestinians remain stalled, saying in published comments that “practical steps” are needed to breathe life into the stalemated peace process.

The proposal drew attention to the dire state of affairs with the Palestinians, which has been overshadowed by Israel’s focus on the Iranian nuclear program. Prime Minister Netanyahu, convinced that Tehran is pursuing nuclear weapons, says the Islamic Republic must be stopped and has devoted his 3 1/2 year term to rallying international support against the Iranians. At the same time, he has largely ignored the Palestinian issue.

In an interview with the Israel Hayom daily, Defense Minister Ehud Barak implied that the deadlock with the Palestinians cannot be sustained indefinitely.

“It’s better to reach an agreement with the Palestinians, but if that doesn’t happen, we must take practical steps to start a separation,” he said. “It will help us not only in dealing with the Palestinians, but also with other countries in the region, with the Europeans, and with the American administration — and of course (will help) us.”

AB: You have been criticized, mostly on Twitter, for being anti-Semitic. I know you’ve defended yourself by claiming your Jewish heritage, but do you not believe it’s possible to discriminate your own culture? Do you believe you’re comments are excusable because of your background as a comedian?

RB: For one Jew to call another Jew anti-semitic is a tired, insulting, overused propagandist device, a generally groundless way to discredit ANYONE who dares to question the warlike policies of Israel’s Right Wing Gov’t, but mostly to discredit the wonderful Israeli socialists who built Israel. I stand with millions of Jews, worldwide, who also do not wish to march in lockstep with the Netanyahu regime. Where there are two Jews, there are THREE opinions. I’m pretty traditional in that sense, don’t you think?

AB: Do you believe you “get away” with certain beliefs and bold statements because you’re known to the world as a comedian, instead of coming from a background in politics?

RB: I am, first and foremost, a human being of conscience, and a citizen of a great nation that prides itself on being a bastion of free speech. On top of that, Yes, I AM a comic, a member of a profession that’s known for brazen, thought-provoking speech. I’m a law-abiding American – I don’t “get away” with anything; I speak my mind with the best of intentions, and in all honesty, and I face the consequences. I dish it out, and I take it.

AB: After reading all of your policies, many people might call you an “idealist”. What would you do as President to implement concepts such as “equal rights for all” or “forgiving all student loans”?

RB: This nation, and all great humanitarian undertakings were started by idealists. Really, there’s nothing particularly naive or unrealistic about asking our country and its institutions to walk the talk. There certainly has to be an alternative to making young students and graduates carry backbreaking debt that grows larger with interest, for decades, in an economy that doesn’t allow them a means to pay that debt down. Everyone is being asked to tighten their belts and lower their expectations during this worldwide economic crisis. Why should bankers be any different? If super-wealthy banks, flush with assets and not embarrassed to ask for and receive a bailout can’t take a hit – who CAN?

AB: Why did you select Cindy Sheehan as your running mate?

RB: Cindy’s credentials are unquestionable. She, as a mother, paid the ultimate price for what history is showing to be the greatest foreign policy debacle in American History; but what makes her different than thousands of other citizens in her situation is that she has never stopped confronting the forces that have caused this ongoing horrific loss. She has continued to educate and disseminate and speak truth to power. More and more Americans are seeing the tragic folly of waging these wasteful distant wars while claiming that we can’t afford to take care of essential needs at home. Peace and Freedom IS Cindy Sheehan!

AB: If you had to summarize your message in just one sentence, what would it be?

RB: We need to hold our country up to the standards it professes, end slavery and war in all its forms, and make peace and freedom a reality, starting NOW!

AB: The United States has never voted someone into power outside the Republican or Democratic party. Knowing this, are you hoping to be the first, or simply using your global influence to make issues normally avoided in the media made known to the public?

RB: Well, it wouldn’t be very inspiring to tell people I think there’s no chance I’ll be elected. Having said that, yes, I’m raising consciousness on issues that are NOT receiving the attention they should: The destructive War on Drugs, The burning need for Campaign Finance Reform and term limits, ending slavery in all its forms, Monsanto’s Frankenstein-ing of our food supply and seeds, the shameful under-representation of women and the attack on their reproductive rights, the removal of the Electoral College, the auditing of the Fed, Debt forgiveness, Iceland-style – the list goes on, and so do I!

AB: However, if you did win the Presidency, not only would you be the first outside of the two-party system, but the first woman and the first Jew. Which of these three “firsts” would mean the most to you?

RB: They would all be landmarks and milestones, but we need to maintain separation of Church and State, so I don’t know how much weight should be given to Religion or ethnicity, although almost 200 years of White, Anglo-Saxon Protestant MEN DOES seem like a pattern that needed to be broken. The first woman President would be a BIG deal, obviously, but the goal is to keep moving forward to the time when it WON’T be a big deal, just like the color of President Obama’s skin should not be. However, the TRUTH is-that if elected, I would be the FIRST President of the USA not related by BLOODLINE to the Royal Family of England- including Obama. That would be a TRUE FIRST.

AB: Do you plan on running again in 2016?

RB: Please, I HATE this idea whereby campaigns start BEFORE the election in our face, THIS cycle, has even been decided. The European model should serve as an example. Our, tiresome, mud-slinging, non-stop campaigning is NOT productive.

AB: How do you want to be remembered?

RB: As the first person to live forever, and one who finally received the adoration she deserved. Oh, and for my pragmatism and humility, too. Get THAT in there!

AB: What are you currently working on, you know, other than running for President of the United States? Any upcoming tours, TV shows, films?

RB: For a change, I’m not looking past what’s on my plate next, which I hope is some lovely angel hair pasta, a delightful salad with a plummy red wine on the side, some fresh, fragrant garlic bread, and then a big, cozy nap! Doesn’t that sound heavenly?

[UPDATED] [VIDEO/AUDIO] WARNING: EXTREMELY GRAPHIC! Ronald Poppo Speaks Out For The Very First Time!

This combo made with undated photos made available by the Miami-Dade Police Dept. shows Rudy Eugene, 31, left, who police shot and killed as he ate the face of Ronald Poppo, 65, right, during a horrific attack in the shadow of the Miami Herald’s headquarters on Saturday, May 26, 2012. Poppo was in critical condition Tuesday, with only his goatee intact on his face, the newspaper reported. (AP Photo/Miami-Dade Police Dept.)

UPDATE: THURSDAY August 9th, 2012 at 9:05 AM – Ronald Poppo is speaking out for the very first time, and we have the audio recording below in this news piece.

UPDATE: MONDAY July 16th, 2012 at 10:45 AM – A friend of Eugene’s, Christian, 34, has come forward and told authorities that they had both previously met Poppo while volunteering to feed the homeless.

‘Poppo seemed like a nice and kind man,’ Christian, 34, told the Herald. ‘I remember when we gave him food.’

The police are hoping that this new information might lead them to a motive for the attack.

UPDATE: THURSDAY June 28th, 2012 at 10:35 AM - The Miami-Dade Medical Examiner has come out and said that there was only Marijuana found in Rudy Eugene’s system. The toxicology report has been completed.

“The department’s toxicology laboratory has identified the active components of marijuana,” the medical examiner said in a statement. “The laboratory has tested for but not detected any other street drugs, alcohol or prescription drugs, or any adulterants found in street drugs.”

Along with ruling out all drugs and alcohol other than Marijuana, the department has stated that there were no known drugs in bath salts present in Eugene’s system at the time.

Poppo has been recovering at Jackson Memorial Hospital‘s Ryder Trauma Center since the attack on May 26th that took place along the MacArthur Causeway. 50 Percent of his face were attacked and he’s also suffering an infection, brain injury and some puncture wounds in his chest.

I am sorry, but there is NO WAY in hell that Eugene was just under the influence of Marijuana. To strip naked, viciously attack someone, eat their face and then to not retreat after being shot means he was clearly crazy or on some sort of drug, similar to LSD. Bath salts are a newer drug that people know very little about. Could it be possible that the drug had worked its way out of his system before the toxicology was performed? Did he have mental issues before this particular attack? The fact that he stripped off his clothing means he was feeling very hot, which is a feeling that many people get when they take Speed, Ecstasy, or LSD. Another common factor is that pain is dismissed while high on these drugs. It seems logical that Rudy Eugene was having a similar experience, yet the department says nothing was present? I think some more investigation needs to go into this, because if marijuana gets a bad name thanks to this crazy ass cannibal, I will not be happy about that. People have worked too hard to share the effects of marijuana, which usually don’t include eating people, getting naked and being able to take bullets like some kind of Superman.

UPDATE: WEDNESDAY June 13th at 9:08 AM – A photo has been released with the consequences of the attack finally revealed. Below, you can find that image as well as more about this story.

“He was always looking for ways to make money. Not necessarily illegal, but sometimes he got in trouble with it,” lifelong friend, Daniel Ruiz told the Miami Herald. “But for Rudy to do something that graphic, that aggressive, that violent, that gruesome — that’s what’s really troubling us. Rudy? Really? Rudy? Naw.”

The Associated Press -

MIAMI (AP) — Authorities were seeking more witnesses Tuesday to help explain what led a naked man to start chewing another naked man’s face and whose only response when confronted by police was to growl and keep attacking – even after being shot.

At least one witness so far has said he saw the attack Saturday on a busy highway off-ramp. Police have identified the attacker as Rudy Eugene, 31.

The victim, who has not been identified, is in critical condition at a hospital. Both men were naked at the time of the attack, The Miami Herald reported.

“We know that there were many people on the MacArthur Causeway and we’re hoping they come forward,” Detective William Moreno was quoted Monday by the newspaper as saying.

Police have released few details about the attack, other than confirming that an officer had fatally shot a suspect.

A police spokesman and the Miami-Dade County medical examiner did not immediately return telephone calls Tuesday from The Associated Press.

Witness Larry Vega was riding his bicycle Saturday afternoon off the MacArthur Causeway that connects downtown Miami with Miami Beach when he saw the savage attack, he told local news media.

“The guy was, like, tearing him to pieces with his mouth, so I told him, ‘Get off!’” Vega told Miami television station WSVN (http://bit.ly/L6kwWt). “The guy just kept eating the other guy away, like, ripping his skin.”

Vega flagged down a Miami police officer, who he said repeatedly ordered the attacker to get off the victim. The attacker just picked his head up and growled at the officer, Vega said.

As the attack continued, Vega said the officer shot the attacker, who continued chewing the victim’s face. The officer fired again, killing the attacker.

A surveillance camera from The Miami Herald building nearby captured images of the men’s naked legs lying side by side after the shooting.

Vega said the victim appeared gravely injured.

“It was just a blob of blood,” Vega said. “You couldn’t really see, it was just blood all over the place.”

Vega declined to speak Tuesday with The Associated Press. He said he was trying to put the attack behind him.

Ives Eugene, who identified himself as Rudy Eugene’s uncle, described his nephew as a “nice and hard-working” man who washed cars at a local dealership.

In a telephone interview, Eugene, 55, said his nephew had asked his girlfriend to borrow her car, but she said no. “So he rode the bicycle, and he never came back home.”

Ives Eugene said the family heard Monday about the attack but did not know what sparked it.

Rudy Eugene’s ex-wife declined to be interviewed when reached by The Associated Press by telephone.

Ronald Poppo was a quiet homeless man that supposedly, never bothered anyone. Although he was a bit down and out during this incident, he attended a prestigious New York School as a young man and wasn’t heading for a life on the streets. Sadly, he’s still in critical condition. Even if he does survive, there’s not much left of his face and it could be a very long recovery process.

[VIDEO] Snoop Dogg’s ‘Rolling Words’: Smokable Book

RollingWords_Book

Snoop Dogg has released this video for ‘Rolling Words’ to help promote his own line of King Size Rolling Papers created by San Francisco agency Pereira & O’Dell. Right now, the book is only being offered for elite distribution (whatever the hell that means), but they are considering a limited edition version as well, to be sold online.

If you’re going to Coachella though, you may get the opportunity to sample the papers before the release of the book. So, be sure to look for the posters (photo example below) that will have some of the samples attached and are free for music concert guests to detach on their own. In the meantime, I’ll be anxiously waiting to get my hands on my very own copy of ‘Rolling Words’… if and when it becomes available.

Thursday 4Play: Marijuana!

mom,note,weed,funny,handwritten,humor-a1fb88d055e406f1227e6ce9949cead8_h

I LOVE marijuana and believe that it should be legalized. I could go on and on about the benefits of marijuana and how it’s better than alcohol and that it’s a great idea for our economy, but I don’t want to bore the shit out of you. So, here are some funny photos to help express my opinions on the matter…

For those of you who are still reading now that the funny photos are done, I’d like to express that I not only enjoy weed recreationally, but I also have a chronic disorder called CRPS. This stands for Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (or Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, previously known as RSD) and means that I am intense pain almost all the time. I do have my medical license and consider medical marijuana my medication seeing as I’d prefer to be high and have less pain than doped up on 15 to 20 pills a day. With medical marijuana I can work, endure the pain I have, and also be more aware than I would be on prescription pills. Legalization is something that should be more of a focus, especially considering how many chronic pain disorders there are, that affect so many people in this country. I would rather get ‘too stoned’ (which is ridiculous, and impossible to OD on) than get alcohol poisoning and die or overdose on my prescription pills. Just some food for thought.

This is the only option I have that doesn’t have fatal consequences if I over-indulge.

Well Alright, Lets Get High…

article-2085023-0F68D32200000578-202_468x312

The results are in from a 20-year study of marijuana smokers; Smoking pot does not harm the lungs! I know it sounds crazy, but apparently this is only true for those of us who only smoke about once or twice a week. Sadly, I don’t fall into this category, but there is still some good news for those os us who enjoy medicating on the daily:

The results, from the 20-year study on the health effects of marijuana, are hazier for heavy users — those who smoke two or more joints daily for several years.

The data suggest that using marijuana that often might cause a decline in lung function, but there weren’t enough heavy users among the 5,000 young adults in the study to draw firm conclusions.

A small decline does not discourage me from using marijuana, especially because most everything in our body tends to decline with age. It’s the chemicals in cigarettes that really do the harm, and seeing as marijuana and tobacco only share a few of the same chemicals, the results differ.

The study by researchers at the University of California, San Francisco, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham was released Tuesday by the Journal of the American Medical Association.

The findings echo results in some smaller studies that showed while marijuana contains some of the same toxic chemicals as tobacco, it does not carry the same risks for lung disease.

Awesome, let’s go roll a blunt and enjoy our lives.

***Unlike cigarette smokers, marijuana users tend to breathe in deeply when they inhale a joint, which some researchers think might strengthen lung tissue. But the common lung function tests used in the study require the same kind of deep breathing that marijuana smokers are used to, so their good test results might partly reflect lots of practice, said Kertesz, a drug abuse researcher and preventive medicine specialist at the Alabama university.***
