[VIDEO] ‘Rated T For Tolerance’ – by a very ignorant, anti-gay, Christian teen

article-2289376-187CF9F1000005DC-84_634x479

I have no idea why this video needed to be shot in the woods, but apparently this helps substantiate the message somehow. And while she may think that was a brilliant poem, I feel it was rather weak. I could have made a more compelling poem against gays, and I am a full fledged lesbo, planning to wed my wife in 6 short months. Fortunately, it seems that many people don’t like her message or video and she has disabled comments and liking/disliking the video.

The young naive and very religious teen wrote this on her YouTube:

Equality or Freedom?

Jesus didn’t come to make our lives fair, but to set us free.
To become born again and have our mind renewed through Christ is true Freedom through Righteousness; not Equality through fairness. Love is not a right; it is a God-given privilege bought at an extreme price — death on a cross. Jesus freely gave His life for you and me so we can have the privilege to be with Him in Heaven. God only ordains, blesses, and accounts for marriage as being a covenant between a husband and wife. Society, however, will always find cheap imitations of the real thing, promote it, then sell it. Realize this is not hate speech, I speak every word out of love.
Love is a choice.

[VIDEO] Rappin’ For Jesus

Screen Shot 2013-02-11 at 4.11.32 PM

Maybe if I would have seen this when I was younger, I’d be a follower of Jesus. Or maybe I would have laughed just as hard as I am laughing now. Pastor Jim Colerick clearly knows what teens appreciate.

[VIDEO] Missouri Pastor’s Controversial Speech Against Equal Rights for Homosexuals Has AMAZING Twist Ending

Screen shot 2012-10-19 at 4.43.33 PM

At a Springfield City Council public hearing back in August,  Rev. Phil Snider of the Brentwood Christian Church gave a speak against equal rights for Homosexuals that starts off very upsetting. This hearing was about amending the city’s nondiscrimination ordinance to include sexual orientation and gender identity protections, and Mr. Snider decided he must speak up. The ending is truly remarkable.

WWJB: What Would Jesus Be? Liberal Democrat, Of Course!

question-3257897

Philly Burbs -

If Jesus were alive today, he would be a liberal Democrat.

Why? Because Jesus began his mission to help the needy; he would enact Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act and the Affordable Health Care Act.

Christ would establish the minimum wage, job safety rules and laws against child labor. He would fight for collective bargaining. Jesus would institute clean air and clean water regulations, financial regulations, consumer protection rules, and public education funding.

Jesus would condemn corporate greed and the kind of “vulture capitalism” that has cost thousands of American workers their jobs, destroyed communities and made Willard Romney rich.

Christ would preach for the passage of the Dream Act that allows children of illegal immigrants to go to college and serve in the Armed Forces without fear of deportation.

He would remind us that we are all God’s children.

It is not who you love or how you love, but THAT you love.

Jesus taught us that we are our brothers’ and sisters’ keeper; that we must help the needy, the sick and poor.

Today, women’s rights, workers’ rights and civil rights are under attack by conservatives.

Jesus’ teachings and Christian/Judeo ethics form the moral basis of the Democratic Party. The Democrats’ long history of progressive legislation helps to improve the quality of life of all Americans.

This passionate mission for social justice by liberals is a testament to Christ’s life.

[VIDEO] Teacher Tells Student’s She’s Engaged to Jesus and That He Gave Her a ‘Special’ Eye

Imelda-Paredes-pic-5-13-12

I’ve had teachers lose their minds in class, throw desks at students, Scream every curse word there is, but I have NEVER had a teacher tell me she plans to marry Jesus in heaven and that he gave her a special eye that allows Jesus to see what she sees. And quite frankly, I’m fucking pissed. This is one of the most amazing things to ever happen in High School. When I was trying to learn how to say ‘you are pretty’ in French (tu es jolie…that’s one thing that stuck), these assholes were getting a history lesson about Jesus from his FUTURE wife!

Imelda Paredes, 42-year-old Spanish teacher, confirmed that she was, in fact, the teacher at San Benito Veterans Memorial Academy  who was featured in the video.

The video, filmed by one of her students on Monday, shows Paredes begin a discussion about Jesus Christ and how he was in love with Mary Magdalene, a conspiracy theory popularized by Dan Brown’s fictional novel, The Da Vinci Code.

But the discussion soon turned bizarre when Paredes, who was speaking in Spanish during the majority of the 12-minute video, said that Mary Magdalene is not dead but instead reincarnated in different people.

“Soy yo (It is I),” Paredes said in Spanish, claiming she was the reincarnated Mary Magdalene and that Jesus Christ, who she claimed was in love with her, was planning on taking her to another planet where they would marry and conceive a child.

“I haven’t seen him (Jesus), but he talks to me every day,” Paredes said in the video. “He calls me, and he just recently promised me that he’s coming soon for me and for the good people to take us to the heavens, where I’ll have his baby. I have my husband here, but I don’t know what’s going to happen to him. My husband is Jesus Christ, and he is the one I want to marry.”

A student then asked his teacher, “How can you prove that you are who you say you are?” Paredes replied, “If you look at my eyes, one of my eyes is not mine.” She was referring to an earlier discussion in which she claimed Jesus Christ loved Mary Magdalene so much that he gave her one of the pupils from his eyes.

“Is there anybody that wants to see Jesus?” Paredes continued. “He’s watching you.”

As if that’s not creepy enough, she proceeds to take off her shoes and play music from her desk, where she stood motionless for some time. A couple of students were so creeped out that they went and told some other authorities at the school.

Once clear she was not fit to conduct an interview, the News asked her husband, Adrian Paredes, to speak on her behalf. He said, “I feel that my wife does care a lot about her students, and she loves working in San Benito. There’s really nothing else to say except to please respect my family’s privacy.”

Although she was once named Teacher of the Year in 2007, she has had some incidences that students reported. She is now on leave and will be reviewed before being allowed to return to the classroom.

[VIDEO] Father Your Son: Clinical Psychologist’s Son Twerkin to Rihanna’s ‘Birthday Cake’

Screen shot 2012-04-26 at 10.29.32 AM

In case you don’t know who Father Your Son is, don’t worry, neither did I. Recently though I did some investigative work (typed Father Your Son into Google) and realized that Father Your Son is Dr. Stephan B. Poulter, clinical psychologist. His work is based on being a better parent and focusing on teaching your children all the important life lessons that you’d prefer they not learn from bad influences.

Many people are being more critical of this video because they’re arguing that this shows that Dr. Poulter’s methods aren’t working. The boy, Anthony, is cursing, dancing sexually and in my opinion, gay (not outing him or being cruel). I obviously think there’s nothing wrong with any of these things, although cursing so much at his age seems rather inappropriate… as well as the dancing (although I’m guilty of dancing like that since birth, soooo). I also don’t know if he should be posting videos like this at his age, but then again, we live in this world, how it is now, and this is how things are done.

Way to be brave though, Anthony…do your thing!

[VIDEO] Pastor Dennis Terry Introduces Rick Santorum With An Anti-Gay, Pro-Life, Conservative Bullshit Speech

Screen shot 2012-03-19 at 4.42.53 PM

I am sorry, but if Rick Santorum, a man who clearly believes in the message that Pastor Dennis Terry is so eloquent at expressing, becomes President, our FREEDOM as American‘s will be threatened. Pastor Dennis is a hateful man who doesn’t understand or appreciate diversity; He is also ignorant. The man explains that we’re not allowed to pray in public, which is definitely far from the truth. What they did enforce was not MAKING children pray at school, because spirituality and religion should be an independent decision for each person. Sadly, we still have parents that believe forcing religion down their children’s throats is the best thing to do, but at least we don’t have the government and our teachers telling us what we should believe.

Also, this man is fighting to keep things how they were and I understand why, but fortunately, most of us would like to advance and allow our religious beliefs to grow as well. If we never changed what we believed and how we did things, we might still have slaves, treat women like dogs and have men being arrested for sodomy. I believe that if there were a God (which I do not believe), then why would he be so egotistical to only allow those that worship and accept him into heaven? Wouldn’t you think he would prefer people who lived their lives morally as opposed to those who just accepted him in the hopes of being redeemed for their sins? I know I’d rather be around people with my same morals in the after life and not some child molesters, murderers, and rapists that have seen the light and accepted Jesus as their savior. So, if that’s the case, leave me down here to burn in hell with people who have respect for one another, not because they have to, but because it’s simply the right thing to do.

[VIDEO] Sh*t Christians Say

Screen shot 2012-02-08 at 11.14.28 AM

First of all, I just want to make a point of mentioning that this is sarcasm and I don’t feel that all Christians say or act like this. Being religious is your personal choice and being non-religious, is mine. This video made me laugh and does portray how many extreme Christians act, at least from what I have seen, being a lesbian. If you can’t find the humor, then I suggest you lighten up a bit and don’t take yourself so seriously. The only judgment you’re allowed to make….oh wait! As a Christian, you shouldn’t be judging me, because that’s God‘s job…

I had to get in on the fun before the “Shit _____ Say” meme completely falls from grace. Yay God!

Ricky Gervais Is Witty And Intelligent.

article-2077757-0F435EC100000578-380_468x744

Many Christian Twitter followers are highly offended by Ricky Gervais and have made their outrage apparent with tweets to and about the comedic atheist.

The Office creator, 50, has often spoken of his lack of faith, but his appearance on the cover of New Humanist magazine in a Jesus Christ-style pose has pushed a few over the edge:

In the magazine there is also an article that features an interview that was done with Mr. Gervais. Here he discusses a new movie he’s working on called ‘Afterlife’ where he will be playing the role of ‘God‘.

Ricky reveals he plays the religious leader as ‘an arrogant, wisecracking son of a b****, who thinks he’s the best thing since sliced bread’ in the new show.

And he says despite the touchy subject the programme isn’t meant to be taken seriously.

‘He (God in the show) also loves welcoming atheists to heaven with a smug grin on his face. He likes atheists deep down though. Or rather he likes good atheists,’ Ricky muses.

‘He admires the fact that they were moral people even though they didn’t believe they would ever be rewarded with everlasting life. It’s not anti-religion, it’s just fun.’

He adds: ‘I used to believe in God. The Christian one, that is. (There are a few thousand to choose from. But I was born in a country where the dominant religion was Christianity so I believed in that one. Isn’t it weird how that always happens?)

‘Luckily I was also interested in science and nature. And reason and logic. And honesty and truth. And equality and fairness.

This man is a role model in my eyes and I love that he is not backing down just because he’s pissed a few people off. Instead, he’s stood up for what he believes, which is disbelief. He’s not a cruel man and makes it that much more clear that atheists are just like Christians, with one small difference: God. Whether we believe in something does not determine our actions or our sense of morality. A good person is good regardless of their beliefs, and the same goes for bad people.

The sarcasm he enlists to make his points about religion are very compelling. His compassion for humanity is apparent. His talent (who some would say was a gift from God) is overwhelming. Don’t deny him applause for the greatness he is and has done, simply because he thinks differently than you. And if you do choose to be so small-minded, you might want to ask God to forgive you for placing judgment on others.
