[VIDEO] Anti-Gay Chick-Fil-A Needs To Cluck Off
FCKH8.com has released a video that is encouraging people to take a stand against the homophobic Chick-Fil-A, yet, are worried it may get removed.
Yesterday FCKH8.com received a legal notice from Facebook saying that the Chick-Fil-A legal team has forced them to pull this protest video from Facebook because it used their logo. Use of a copyrighted logo in criticism, commentary, review or news is legally protected free speech. Chick-Fil-A is trying silence protests of their homophobic positions. They may try to get this video pulled from YouTube and Vimeo as well. Share it on Facebook or copy it (from our Vimeo page) & reupload the video to your YouTube or Vimeo account.
This chain has openly encouraged homophobia and refused to acknowledge that their beliefs are outdated and reminiscent of the 1960′s. Boston, Massachusetts Mayor, Tom Menino, has even banned the restaurant from their city to show how they will not support this message of hate. Another big proponent to come out and publicly shame Chick-Fil-A has been the Jim Henson Company, by no longer partnering The Muppets with the gay hating, religious loving, fast food chain.
American Family Association‘s Bryan Fischer is the man who is standing up in support of Chick-Fil-A and their right to discriminate or belittle the homosexual community.
“The bullies at Big Gay have targeted the ‘Eat Mor Chikin‘ chain because its president, Dan Cathy, has taken an unapologetic public stand on behalf of natural marriage, and rebuked this generation for its “arrogance” in thinking that it knows better than God when it comes to the definition of marriage,” Fischer wrote. “And so the heterophobic bigots at Big Gay have come unhinged and unleashed the dogs of war.”
War? I’m not the one going into OTHER countries and forcing democracy and taking what’s not mine. I am simply asked to be treated as a decent human being who will not be judged based on their sexuality. I don’t want someone with money, influence and power to take advantage and sway others into fucking logic and being ignorant. In the bible there are many ways which show what “natural marriage” is and I can guarantee that we do not live our lives like that today. Jon Stewart read out some bible versus the other night on ‘The Daily Show‘ that I thought were perfect examples:

[VIDEO] Woman Flips Over on Escalator While trying to Use Motorized Scooter
I may be considered an asshole, but if you can walk (which she clearly could), why on earth would you attempt to ride an escalator with a heavy ass motorized scooter? Clearly the scooter is much larger than one of the escalator stairs. Also, if you need assistance to get around, chances are you won’t be able to balance your own weight and the weight of your transportation (240 lbs.) on a step that is much too small.
The woman has not been identified, but we somehow know she is 56-years-old and this took place at the Broadway T stop in Boston, MA. It has also been revealed that there was an elevator some 50 feet away from this escalator, that the woman could have taken instead. Laziness and stupidity is what led to this incident, and I hope the woman realizes that.

Dog Pulls Unconscious Owner From Train’s Path
When I first read about this heroic dog, I was looking forward to an uncomplicated story of a loyal dog helping its owner. Unfortunately, I feel this owner wasn’t so deserving of this amazing dog, who risked her life.
A pit bull named Lilly, from Shirley, Massachusetts, pulled Christine Spain away from the tracks as a freight train was coming towards them. Spain was unconscious at the time, so Lilly began to do what she thought best, pull her owner from the tracks and placing herself in harm’s way. The engineer of the westward-bound train saw Lilly pulling Spain in the early morning hours of May 3rd, and although he had tried to stop, he was unable to do so before hitting Lilly and leaving Spain unharmed.
As the train passed, the train’s wheels sliced through Lilly’s right foot, fractured her pelvis in numerous locations and caused various other internal injuries.
When EMTs arrived at the scene, Lilly was covered in blood but still standing guard over her owner, who had collapsed next to the tracks while walking home from a friend’s house.
This is when I began to get angry. Why did the woman pass out and why was she walking home in the very early morning hours? My assumption is that Christine endangered her dog because she was drunk and unable to stay conscious.
Spain’s son, Boston police Officer David Lanteigne, transferred Lilly from an emergency animal hospital in Acton to Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston. In fact, Lanteigne is the one who adopted Lilly three years earlier, for his mother, in the hopes that it would help curb her drinking! AHA! While I may be wrong, this just makes me feel more confident in my original assumption. Obviously, Lilly loves the woman and wanted to save her life, but it was because of Spain’s irresponsibility that Lilly was even in that position.
“Lilly’s recovery from this horrific ordeal is my top priority right now and I’ll do everything possible to get her back home to us,” Lanteigne said.
At this point, we know that Lilly’s foot could not be saved and her right front leg had to be amputated. Luckily, the veterinarian said she should be able to walk once she fully recovers.

Born As Twin Brothers: Now They’re Brother And Sister
Lately, there seems to be a lot of stories coming about that share a child’s journey to match their body with how they feel. Although, transgendered children seems shocking as is, this story is definitely intriguing.
Although born identical twin boys, Wyatt Maines had never felt the same as brother Jonas. While Jonas played with Spiderman and pirates, Wyatt preferred Barbie and tutus.
From a young age, Wyatt did not identify with the gender he was born into and with the help of incredibly supportive parents, Kelly and Wayne, began to live life as a girl. Wyatt became Nicole in the fourth grade and now takes hormones to stop male puberty.
Nicole, now aged 14, told the Boston Globe: ‘I have always known I was a girl. I think what I’m aiming for is to undergo surgery to get a physical female body that matches up to my image of myself.’
Sadly, like most children who act differently than how they are expected to be, The Maines family (ironically from Maine) have had their share of hardships. Nicole (Wyatt), and her family have had to deal with legal battles, discrimination and bullying.
Wyatt made it very obvious that he was not a boy and would act out in anger about people not listening to how he felt. Soon after, the twins’ mother, Mrs. Maines, began looking into transgendered issues with children. Not surprisingly, there was little information before she came across the Children’s Hospital Gender Management Services Clinic in Boston, opened in 2007 by endocrinologist Norman Spack and urologist David Diamond.
Mr Maines, a 53-year-old safety director at the University of Maine, told the Boston Globe: ‘I didn’t understand it all, but I saw the weight lift off Kelly’s shoulders and a smile in Nicole’s eyes.
‘That was it for me. There were tons of challenges for us after that, but I knew my daughter was going to be OK, medically.’
What an amazing father. There are far too many parents in this world that would prefer to portray the image of a perfect family and sacrifice the happiness that they shared with their children, then allow them to be happy being who they truly are. Mr. Maines is a hero in my mind because he allowed his daughter the opportunity to stop suffering sooner than later. Being transgendered is an interesting feeling of being in the wrong body, that I cannot relate to, but can imagine is horrifying. With this being said, the longer this goes on, the more damage that is done to the person, and Mr. and Mrs. Maines did not allow this to happen.
The GeMS Clinic is the first of its kind in the U.S to focus on children and teenagers with gender identity issues. They have a multifaceted team including specialists in gynecology, urology, social work and psychiatry.
Using hormone therapies, the clinic halts puberty in transgender children, blocking the development of characteristics like breasts or facial hair, which can make the final steps to the other gender more painful and expensive.
‘I believed in Nicole. She always knew who she was.’
In the fourth grade, Wyatt grew longer hair and started wearing more girly clothes and by fifth grade had her name legally changed to Nicole.
Mrs Maines, 50, who works in law enforcement, told the Boston Globe: I believed in Nicole. She always knew who she was.’
There were very few problems with classmates or their parents until one boy called Nicole a ‘faggot’ and objected to her using the female bathroom.
The boy’s grandfather complained to the school board backed by the Christian Civic League of Maine.
The superintendent of schools then decided Nicole should use a staff bathroom causing the Maines to bring a discrimination case against the school.
Jonas also ended up getting into fights to defend his sister. After several incidents of prejudice and bullying the Maines moved to a more diverse community in the state with more liberal schools.
The Maines family spoke out to help fight the deep stigma against transgender youth.
Suicide attempts are a high risk with transgendered youth and it is believed that 50% have attempted suicide at least once before their 20th birthday. This is outrageous! Just because we believe something, does not mean it is true. If someone feels like a girl or a woman, who are we to say that it is not possible. Many parents tell their children that you can grow up to be whatever you want. Well, Wyatt wanted to be a girl, believed he WAS a girl, and his parents let him do just that. Wyatt is now Nicole and happy. Having a happy child is not only better for that person and their families, but also for the rest of society who will have less emotionally unstable people trying to make it in this harsh world.
Jonas told the Globe: ‘I love having a sister. We have a very strong relationship.’
Nicole added: ‘I would say my brother got lucky with me. Because we grew up with only boy neighbours, I developed a liking to shoot-’em-up and military video games. I could have come out a lot girlier.’

Dog Leaps From 3rd Story Window After Being Abandoned There For 2 Months
One-year-old
A miraculous story about a one-year-old female Pit Bull has surfaced from Buzzard’s Bay, Boston and has led to a search for the two tenants who previously lived in the apartment that hosted the female dog and her 4-month-old puppy. Both dogs were left in the apartment as early as 2 months prior, without food or water.
After starving for too many months, the one-year-old decided to leap 3 stories below in search of food. Although she did break her hip and back, she received immediate surgery and is expected to fully recover thanks to the vets at a nearby Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists.
Four-Month-Old Pup
Both dogs are under care and being treated for malnutrition, but are luckily in the hands of people who care and are encouraged to help due to their amazing story. The police in New Bedford are also investigating this as well as the Animal Rescue League officials.
Animal Control Officer Emanuel Maciel described the apartment, saying: ‘It was flea infested. The third floor was flea infested – feces all over the floor.
‘Urine spots all over the floor, same thing on the first floor it was devastating to see the conditions these animals were living.’
Jennifer Wooliscroft, director of communications for the Animal Rescue League of Boston, told the Boston Globe: ‘We see this too much.
‘These dogs are often so resilient and nice when they really have no reason to be nice at all.’
