Sally Kern Belives Homosexuality Is A Bigger Threat Than Terrorism
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Ms. Sally Kern, she is an Oklahoma Republican lawmaker. Oklahoma is truly a breeding ground for Republicans that despise homosexuality, at least from my experience. Now, don’t get me wrong, not everyone from Oklahoma has these beliefs, but they are far more abundant than I am familiar with, living here in Los Angeles, CA.
Anyway, Kern decided it would be a great way to commemorate 9/11 by explaining that gays and lesbians are worse of a threat than terrorists and terrorism. While she may feel strongly about such issues, I don’t think that was extremely great timing. To be honest, I really don’t agree with the statement at all. If you remember correctly, TERRORISTS flew planes into the twin towers and the Pentagon, killing thousands of innocent civilians on American soil. As far as I know, there have been no such attacks from the gay community, and according to my ‘gay agenda’, none are planned for the future.
Also, AIDS/HIV is NOT a gay disease. I am seriously so sick of this bullshit! Yes, it was more abundant in gay individuals in the 80′s thanks to the fact that sex between two men was still seen as wrong and men were, at the time, forced to be much more secretive about their affairs. In doing so, protection was the least of their concerns, while being able to be intimate with individuals they were sexually and/or emotionally attracted to was their highest priority. Since then, the disease has flourished in, not just gays, but straights alike. Do your fucking research and don’t be so goddamn stupid.
Here is the idiotic statement made by an ignorant politician:
You know if you just look at it in practical terms, which has destroyed and ended the life of more people? Terrorism attack here in America or HIV/AIDS? In the last twenty years, fifteen to twenty years, we’ve had maybe three terrorist attacks on our soil with a little over 5,000 people regrettably losing their lives. In the same time frame, there have been hundreds of thousands who have died because of having AIDS. So which one’s the biggest threat?
And you know, every day our young people, adults too, but especially our young people, are bombarded at school, in movies, in music, on TV, in the mall, in magazines, they’re bombarded with ‘homosexuality is normal and natural.’ It’s something they have to deal with every day. Fortunately we don’t have to deal with a terrorist attack every day, and that’s what I mean.

The reason that we are bombarded with such information in the media, is because the media is trying to give American citizens the right to be who they are and not feel badly about it, to the point of extreme actions. There are many young kids who have been victims of suicide, bullying, drug abuse, etc. based on the simple fact that they don’t feel comfortable letting people know how they truly feel. I’m not saying that all of these cases are due to homosexuality, but there are definitely quite a few. If your religious and moral beliefs make you want to belittle and refuse to acknowledge individuals based on their natural attraction to someone of the same sex, then let that be your own damn opinion; But I do NOT want and WILL not stand by and see your beliefs forced upon my actions thanks to laws that you are working to create. Go fuck yourself Ms. Kern.
VIDEO: College Student Schools Rick Santorum on His Ludicrous Gay Marriage Position
This is by far one of the best videos I have seen in awhile. A student at Penn State chooses to stand up to Mr. Rick Santorum in regards to his beliefs about Homosexuality, and the effects they have on society. He asked for evidence which proves that children who grow up in same-sex household are okay and then dismisses it saying that there ‘is none’. At this point a brave student who admits she does not know of specific studies, fights back against his judgmental and, in my opinion, immoral beliefs.
He seems upset that Piers Morgan called him a bigot and explains how this was said only to tarnish his image, but not because it was valid. I’m sorry Mr. Santorum, but Mr. Morgan was absolutely correct in his description. A bigot, according to Merriam-Webster is “a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance “
You do not tolerate homosexuals and by not allowing them the freedom to get married and bear children, you are treating them with hatred. You are set set in your own opinions (regardless of the fact that they also happen to be the opinions of the Catholic Church), and you judge us based on a belief that the church put in place hundreds of years ago. Not only do I think you’re a bigot, but now I must admit that I think you are an ignorant and proud asshole as well.

Brother and Sister sue their mother for receiving the wrong birthday card and having a curfew
This is by far one of the most pathetic things I have heard in a while. These spoiled little shits, Steven II, now 23, and Kathryn, now 20 had brought their mom to court over silly scenarios and were represented by three lawyers, including their father, Steven A. Miner.
The $50,000 lawsuit for bad mothering was not successful, and for good fucking reason. Like any mother, Kimberly Garrity raised her children how she thought best. Unfortunately, she was most likely too nice to these children who have taken advantage and feel they deserve more (material items/money) than she gave them.
They alleged Garrity failed to take Kathryn to a car show and threatened Steven II with phoning police if he did not buckle his seatbelt.
The children claim she ‘haggled’ over dress prices and called at midnight to tell Kathryn to come home from a party, reported the Chicago Tribune.
After two years of hearing ridiculous incidences, like above, the ordeal is finally over. The fact that they put their mother through this emotional stress for two years is a reason they should be sued. The appeals court has ruled that her behavior and actions were not ‘extreme or outrageous’.
The birthday card in question was labelled ‘inappropriate’ by Steven II as it allegedly failed to include any money.
It had a picture of indistinguishable tomatoes on a table, apart from one in the centre with googly eyes attached.
The card said: ‘Son I got you this Birthday card because it’s just like you … different from all the rest!’
Newlyweds Steal $1,000 Worth Of Merchandise For Wedding Reception
Brittany Lurch, 22, and Arthur Phillips, 32, were arrested the other day in Pennsylvania after attempting to shoplift $1,049.26 worth of merchandise, according to the Patton Township Police Department.
The two suspects were arrested after hauling 2 carts full of items they had not paid for out to their car that was waiting in the parking lot. The reason for such an idea? They wanted to be able to extend their stolen goods to their wedding guests at their reception. “Lurch, a mother of two, and Phillips were wed a day earlier, on August 18.”
While the complaint does not provide an itemized list of goods boosted from Wegman’s, a cop reported that, “the suspects had ordered numerous items from the seafood department.”
That sounds like it was going to be one fancy ass reception; Seafood from Wegman’s, catered completely free of charge! Luckily, they were arrested while they did something together though, which shows the marriage was off to a good start. The misdemeanor theft and stolen property charges, on the other hand, wasn’t such a good way to start this marriage.
This sadly also reflects the state of our economy. I mean, two citizens, straight citizens, want to get married and feed their guests; The only answer when one has no job or money: steal. In fact, who’s to say they weren’t attempting to make a point, like when James Verone robbed a bank for a dollar. Either way, they spent their first night as newlyweds together, albeit in jail, and shared an experience that they’ll laugh at years later!

Evangelist, Pat Robertson, had a lot to say about the earthquakes on the East Coast during his 700 Club program. This isn’t too shocking because he often preaches hatred and ignorance, but it’s getting a bit ridiculous, in my opinion.
“All across the Eastern seaboard, there are men who get manicures, wear designer eyewear and know about thread counts,” Rev. Robertson. “God finds this somewhat gay-like behavior confusing, and He responded by getting mildly peeved.”
As I watched and listened to what he was saying, he sounded strikingly familiar. I tried to understand where I had heard these words before, and then it hit me; I had heard similar statements from the Westboro Baptist Church. He mentioned that if Americans wanted to continue to act in a “seemingly sort-of-gay behavior,” then we should be aware that God Almighty would take vengeance and show his anger for our actions.
“God will strike back at people who act sort of gay with all kinds of mild responses,” he said. “If you keep getting pedicures and facials, you can expect two to three inches of rain and some really hot humid days in your future.”
If this were true (and I highly doubt it is) global warming, droughts, etc. would not be a problem for us, Mr. Robertson. Plenty of women, both gay and straight, have been getting pedicures, manicures, and facials for years. In fact, plenty of men (whether they’ve been open homosexuals is another question) have been pampered themselves in previous years. I doubt that our political stance on gay marriage has prompted God to take action, and mild action, at that.
And another thing, could you imagine Native Americans back in the day getting pedicures and facials instead of doing rain dances to incite weather changes? This would have been spectacular! The main reason this would have been so great is the simple fact that these acts alone wouldn’t be deemed feminine or homosexual, but necessary and therefore, accepted by all.
“God looks at people who get their panties in a twist after a little shaking, and He says to Himself, ‘Wow, that’s really kind of gay,’” he said.
I love that God talks like a middle schooler and finds our reaction to something unfamiliar “kind of gay.” That doesn’t sound like the omniscient God that was described to me in Church. And how narcissistic of Mr. Pat Robertson to assume that God would be devoting time to condemn gays in New York, rather than help out people who are in need. What a petty man this God is acting like. And you know what, I don’t like petty and judgmental.
Does God like it when people stand up to persecutors?! Because, although I don’t believe in his existence, if I did, I’d be willing to bet he’d stand behind my message and not yours. So, in closing, Fuck you Mr. Pat Robertson.
Teacher Who Called Gay Marriages a Cesspool: “Do I Apologize? No”
A Social Studies teacher at Mount Dora High, Jerry Buell, was suspended awhile ago for making anti-gay comments on FaceBook. This seems shocking enough, but now the currently suspended teacher is refusing to apologize citing his First Amendment Rights.
The incident that led to Buell being suspended had been his reaction to New York’s enabling of gay couples to marry in their state. Please let me address the fact that Mr. Buell does not reside in the state of New York; He lives in Florida, like many other narcissistic and cruel individuals I’ve written about lately. An election gave the state of Florida a bad name, and a seemingly large group of people keep perpetuating that image. Shame on you Floridiots.
The advocate states that he went to FaceBook and said this:
the news left him having to “almost throw up” and that same-sex marriages are a “cesspool.”
Apparently these comments were made during the Summer and therefore, he should not be punished because it was done on personal time. Sadly, kids can still get in trouble for sex and fighting on their personal time, but school officials find THAT necessary to get involved in. When you become a teacher, you understand that children look up to you; To be so ignorant and go onto a predominantly youth based social media site, and preach such hatred while divulging your radically political beliefs, is unprofessional. In my opinion, that is.

UPDATE: Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith Still Together!
Despite rumors earlier today, the power couple, Will and Jada Smith, have decided to come out and speak up on their behalf:
“Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact,” the couple said in a joint statement to E! News.
UPDATED: Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith are separating after 13-years of marriage
UPDATE (August 23rd, 2011) 5:00PM (Pacific Time):
America’s In Touch Weekly magazine has reported that the Smiths have decided to end their marriage after 13-years. No one has spoken out about this from either individual, and some friends that are close to the couple have said that these claims are false.
This power couple has created two beautiful children together, Jaden, 13, and Willow, 10. Along with their kids, they also managed to bring in a whopping 20 million last year, combined.
If the claims are tue, this would be the second divorce for Smith, “who divorced former fashion design student Sheree Zampino in 1995 after three years together.They have a son, Willard Christopher Smith, also known as Trey, who is now 18.”
The two first met back in 1990, when Jada was auditioning to be Will’s girlfriend on his hit television show, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Although she did not get the part due to her lack of height, she and Smith became close and she was able to help him through his divorce in 1995. Soon after, Will and Jada married, while she was 2 months pregnant with their son, Jaden.

Woman ‘married 87-year-old man to get his $400 a month controlled rent Manhattan apartment’
Bargain apartment: The landlord is trying to evict Sarah Berman who it accuses of marrying Stanley Lowell to inherit his controlled-rent property
Sarah Berman, 63, is being accused of marrying Stanley Lowell, 87, a month before he passed to ensure she would get his $400/month rent-controlled West Village apartment in New York. The buildings owner, Fourth FGP LLC, feel that Lowell was conned into marrying the woman shortly before his death, because she was interested in attaining the rent-controlled property all along.
According to other neighbors in the building, Berman is a bad tenant and Lowell was clearly out of it during his last few months. Although, considering that some of these flats could go for around $5,000, I can’t imagine the neighbors being too thrilled with her great deal either. Whether it’s jealousy or legitimate concern will be up to a court.
She wants people to think she’s crazy,’ one told the New York Post, adding that she charges out of the building pointing a big stick in front of her to keep people away.
‘She used to get into violent arguments with some of the guys in the building,’ another told the newspaper.
One neighbour claimed that three years ago when they complained of vermin and a foul odour coming from the flat, Berman refused to let in an exterminator.
Residents said the couple, who had been living together since the early 1990s, never acknowledged each other in public and had loud arguments.
