[VIDEO] Man Arrested For Being Drunk Sings ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ By Queen in Backseat of Patrol Car
This drunk, Robert, was very unhappy about being picked up for being intoxicated and when his hippy ramblings couldn’t get him out of the situation, he decided to attempt a song to persuade the officer. While it didn’t help him out of his situation, it definitely has provided some much-needed entertainment. Thanks to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for not only arresting this fine gentleman, but also allowing him to finish the entire song.

Canada Not Allowing Fox In Their Country Due To A Law Against Lying During News Broadcasts
It would be great if American came to its senses and imposed a law like this for our media outlets. We are lied to and therefore, unable to make intelligent and informed decisions. Luckily, the country that many Americans don’t take seriously is allowing their citizens to be educated. It’s nice though to see a country acknowledge their lies considering that all of us are aware, but just treat it as a joke.
As America’s middle class battles for its survival on the Wisconsin barricades – against various Koch Oil surrogates and the corporate toadies at Fox News – fans of enlightenment, democracy and justice can take comfort from a significant victory north of the Wisconsin border. Fox News will not be moving into Canada after all! The reason: Canadian regulators announced last week they would reject efforts by Canada’s right-wing Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, to repeal a law that forbids lying on broadcast news.
Canada’s Radio Act requires that “a licenser may not broadcast … any false or misleading news.” The provision has kept Fox News and right-wing talk radio out of Canada and helped make Canada a model for liberal democracy and freedom. As a result of that law, Canadians enjoy high quality news coverage, including the kind of foreign affairs and investigative journalism that flourished in this country before Ronald Reagan abolished the “Fairness Doctrine” in 1987.
Political dialogue in Canada is marked by civility, modesty, honesty, collegiality, and idealism that have pretty much disappeared on the US airwaves. When Stephen Harper moved to abolish the anti-lying provision of the Radio Act, Canadians rose up to oppose him fearing that their tradition of honest non-partisan news would be replaced by the toxic, overtly partisan, biased and dishonest news coverage familiar to American citizens who listen to Fox News and talk radio. Harper’s proposal was timed to facilitate the launch of a new right-wing network, “Sun TV News” which Canadians call “Fox News North.

Canada Catering To Crack Heads?
Reading this article, I thought there was no way in hell it could be true. Sadly, Canada has done something I never imagined…gave handouts to crack heads to help minimize the spread of disease.
Drug addicts in a crime-ridden Canadian neighbourhood are being given free crack pipes, it has emerged.
The handouts are part of a ’harm reduction strategy’ aimed at curbing the spread of disease in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
Among the items distributed are heat-resistant and shatterproof glass pipes, which experts say should reduce injury to the users’ lips and mouth.
HIV, Hepatitis B and C are among the diseases that are easily spread from drug addicts who are injured by their pieces and then pass them around to fellow users. For now, they have put down $60,000 in a trial project to help bring this community out of the gutter. Along with drug paraphernalia, they also passed out mouthpieces, filters, alcohol swabs, screens and push sticks.
In total, 60,000 kits are expected to be distributed at five locations during an eight-month trial period.
‘What this boils down to is it’s about disease prevention,’ Ms Beutel told the National Post.
They are also able to get some insight into how many crack heads they have roaming their streets, as well as percentages of who is participating in this drug use. Crack has gained popularity in Canada, and seeing as they now get free pipes too, I can imagine crack heads from all over flocking to this area.

12-Year-Old Boy Helps Mother Deliver His Brother
Gaelan Edwards, 12, had to do something most boys his age never have to do; In fact, most older men don’t get as close to delivering a baby as Gaelan has.
The young boy’s mother, Danielle Edwards, was at her home in Canada on Sunday morning in the very early hours. Being that she was two days overdue with the baby, she knew that she needed help when she started having pains and called for her eldest son, Gaelan. Luckily, the good student also had a fascination with medical shows and often caught them on television, so when his mom screamed for him and had his baby brother’s head already coming into the world, he leapt into action.
…covered in blood and with amniotic fluid up to his elbows, he rested the baby’s head on his forearms as his mother pushed.
As he pulled the baby out by the shoulders, he then went to the kitchen to get some scissors and a clean paper-bag clamp.
He then helped Ms Edwards push out her placenta and clamped and cut the umbilical cord before wrapping his seconds old baby brother in a blanket and handed him to his proud mother.
He called a family friend and washed up. The whole experience lasted 20 minutes.
While this is awesome, I don’t know if I would be able to do such a thing. I mean, there are men out there that forgo sex after seeing that. He didn’t just see it, he was up close and personal, with his mother. Seeing as he’s twelve and this story has made International news, I hope he’s more of a celebrity as opposed to the kid who’s picked on for the whole ordeal.‘Cash Cab’ Driver Kills Pedestrian in Vancouver
It is being reported that the driver (no name has been released) struck and killed a pedestrian after a day of shooting and on his way back to return the vehicle. The elderly pedestrian was struck and then taken to the hospital. Shortly after the arrival, the pedestrian died. No charges have been filed at this point, but the accident is still being investigated.
