On March 25th, 2012 a teenaged girl was talking on the phone, when suddenly the sidewalk below her gave way. Wang Wei was a taxi driver in the area, who witnessed the collapse and came to check on the young girl.

“I called out to her but she didn’t respond. After I shook her a little, she came to,”Wang told the Telegraph.

After a short time, emergency came to their aid and were able to get both Wang and the young girl out of the 19-foot hole that had been created.
