Jules Manson, a known member of the tea party, has recently been brought into the spotlight after some status updates he had made to FaceBook shocked the online world.
On Sunday, many Facebook users were greeted by the shocking spectacle of a California libertarian and Ron Paul supporter by the name of Jules Manson advocating for the assassination of President Barack Obama. Manson, a failed politician, recently ran for and lost a seat on the City of Carson’s City Council last March.
Seeing as the man isn’t a success in politics, maybe he had assumed that no one would care enough to catch the glaringly racist remark. Or, maybe he just didn’t give a shit.
The Update made by Manson: “Assassinate the f—– n—– and his monkey children”
Apparently he was upset with Obama over a policy matter and this led to the need to call him derogatory names and want for both him AND his children to be murdered. What a fucking asshole. We were taught as children that such disagreements with how we felt about certain subjects should not affect our morality. Sadly, Manson, who is religious, should know better than to call a man and his children Monkeys; Especially when that man happens to be the President of The United States.
The dumb ass politician removed the post about two hours after he had initially posted it. But like most people who are too busy being close-minded, he had no idea just how fast the online community can remind you of the dumb shit you’ve done, forever. Many FaceBook users had copied the image of his post and passed the information along to the Secret Service and FBI. Nice to know that people out there take it upon them to do the right thing, despite our more passive attitude these days.
One Facebook page, Americans Against the Tea Party, posted a screen capture of the offensive remarks and received over a 100 angry and outraged comments in a little over an hour. The following is a small sample of those remarks:
I sure hope the Secret Service and FBI get this creep, he is dangerous to everyone! We can thank the Republicans for this brand of extremism.reported to secret service…who seemed interested enough to ask for the url and a screen shot”And his monkey children” smfh. That part bothers me the most.I’d like to see how Fox News will defend THIS!I hope the FBI has seen what he has said and will be showing up at his door soon.The best way to stick it to idiots like this is vote to re elect Obama and then Warren in 2016.
